January Review

Hello Fleekers!

How is the week going?  Are we ready for Friday?  I sure am!!  Lol.

To be honest I wasn't sure what to blog about today.  So I am going to do a January review.  Let me know if you like these month reviews and I will do more.

This has a lot of pictures!!

This is my monthly spread adapted from the original bullet journal guy.  I think I like it.  Still not sure.

Here is my first week. I decided that the budget box wasn't working.

I started doing the brain dump on my weekly pages.  I decided that was too much.

Here is the rest of the week.  The highlighted items are things that I forwarded.

This is a lay out of my menu and food log.  I wrote down everything I needed for the week as far as food.
I highlighted the things that weren't the best food choice.

I saw somewhere either on Instagram or YouTube that someone did an end of week review.  I liked the idea and tried it one week but I don't think it's going to work.  But great idea though.

Week two.  This is where I got more into decorating.  Saw a YouTube video and got the idea for the left page week layout.  Started journaling every day.  Categorized the task list and times.

Food log.  Working really well.

Another menu spread.  Still not doing much with it.

How ya doing?  Hanging in there with me?  If you need to take a break that's totally cool.  I give you permission.  Lol.

All right?  OK.  Here we go.  Two more weeks!

Snow man theme.  Weekly lout going really well.  Came up with a new tasks, time and journalling spread.

Forgot to decorate the rest of the week.  Shame I know.

Food journal still working well.

Menu.  Still a negative.
(Hang in there one more week!!!)

Polar Bear theme.  Lay out still going strong.

Rest of the last week in January.

Menu.  Need to do something different.  Shopping list works out OK on sticky note.

Final food log.  Started adding boxes for pills and suplaments.  Worked out fantastic.

And last but certainly not least.  In fact is it my favorite decorated page.  This was a contribution by my two year old niece.

And there you have it.  Woosh!  The who first ever month in my Bullet Journal.  It worked out really well.  The thing I love about using a notebook/bullet journal is you can change it up anyway you want.

I would love to see some of you pages from January!  How did your planning go?  Did you change anything in the new year?

As always happy Fleeking!

EK Tools Journaling Pens Review

Hello Fleekers!

Happy Monday!  Hope you had a great weekend!

I mentioned on my Instagram post that I got some new pens.  I got some Staedler Pens and some EK Tools Journaling Pens.

I was walking through Target and these caught my eye.  Now.  First and for most for someone who spends no more than $10.00 on a pack of pens these were a lump in my throat when I realized how much they were.  I didn't actually look at the price until I got home.  I paid $26.28 for these!

But I do have to say they were well worth it.  I really do like them.  They write really well.

More on that later.

Here is me taking them out of the package..

As you can see they came in a pack of eight colors.  Black, blue, green, brown, red, pink, yellow and purple.

They are supposed to be really nice journaling pens/markers.  They basically remind me of a fancy version of the Sharpie pens.

But I really do like them.  The lid is a triangle shape.  I believe it is a fine point marker felt round tip.

As for the writing I felt it wrote very smoothly.  The colors are nice and vibrant.  The yellow is a bit hard to see but then what yellow isn't.

The next few pages are samples in the journal I actually use as my bullet journal.  I wanted to test the bleed through.  I found that it does show through somewhat but not terribly bad.

This is the blank page just for review purposes.

Here is the page written on with the purple pan.

This is the back of the page with the "bleed" coming through.

So as you can see the bleed through it very minimal.  Of course the thicker the paper the less bleed through.  The paper in my journal is not the thickest but it's not say regular spiral bound flimsy either.

So over all I am glad for the purchase.  I am really enjoying these pens.  Just as a tip make sure you don't press too hard.  I have to remind myself of that.  I don't want to push the pen tip in.

Hope this helped if you are looking into some nicer pens/markers.

As always
Happy Fleeking!

Week Review February 8-14

Happy Valentines Day Fleekers!

Hope you all feel all that lovey dovey stuff and go into chocolate comas and what ever.  Lol.

Here is my weekly review.

This week was not as productive as I wanted it to be.  I have been sick with a bad chest cold. I tried to get some things done but yea.

So here are the pictures of the week:

I got some new pens from Target.  I want to do a review on them but I need ten likes on my Instagram picture.  One more and I will do a review!  For a sneak peak the journal entries on this page were done in those pens

I didn't do much for my goals.  Being sick I didn't exercise with my mom like we try to do.  Monday.  We will start Monday.
Got a few things done on my zone cleaning.  I will try and finish that up tonight.  Menu didn't go as planned.

Tuesday I stayed home from everything.  That's when I felt the worse and barely had a voice.

Here is my brain dump for the week:

So here is to a better week.  A look into my decorated pages:

So there ya have it folks.  Lol.
How was your week?  Hope you had a good one.  If not like Clarice sings in Rudolph "There's always tomorrow...."

Happy Fleaking!
